Vila de Sol

It was built in 1998/1999 from many sketches with and without an architect. But, this was not planned as only a house for us. We also invested in it to be able to rent out rooms. The house has 530 m² of floor space. Before we could move into the house, much had to be coordinated (financing, i.e. in Germany, arrangements with the building contractor, kitchen, fireplace

and tile selecting, size and form of the pool, and to both agree on a decision). After the move-in, it still went on: lamps, curtains, furniture, garden.... What finally became of it, you are able to see for yourself at www.viladesol.de..

We have learned a lot from our contracting and would like to pass on our knowledge to other prospective buyers, who desire a summer residence or would like to search for their domicile here between Lisbon and Setubal on the Costa Azul (Blue Coast). Since 2000, we have rented out our rooms with growing interest to families from entire Europe; predominately German families. Many families have already spent their vacations by us 3 times over. In 4 years of renting, we have learned this business well and also know the desires of our guests quite well. But, unfortunately, we have also had to cancel frequently up to this day, because of being booked-out. We have had no alternative to offer. We were not able to meet the desires of many prospective buyers, who have searched for a house or apartment with self-catering.
